What are you supposed to do when life gets hard, and it feels as though you’re on a “trust walk” with God, and He lets you run smack into a tree?
And what are you supposed to do when you’re lying on the ground, looking up at Him, and there’s no doubt that He’s “with you,” all right–you know He’s there–but He doesn’t appear to be “for you” at this point?
And what are you supposed to do when it feels like He’s just looking down, watching your head hurt and your face hurt and your back hurt and then your heart hurt because all He’s doing–at least all He appears to be doing–is watching you hurt.
When life in you and around you gets hard, what are you supposed to do with this faith of yours–or maybe what’s left of it?
I don’t have all the answers, but in this episode I pass along what has helped me find certain joy during a time when the suffering makes no sense.
