Can you write a list of 10 things you’ll never do again? Things that you made a decision to do and, let’s just say it didn’t go well?
What would be on such a list? (Someone called this an “anti-bucket list.”)
When a website called Quora.com asked that question, the answers and the stories behind them were priceless, ranging from terrifying to hysterical.
I had a few of my own I could have added to the list…like the time I broke the law just a little bit.
And I’m guessing you have your own tales to tell–which you may or may not regret. But look at it this way: because you did that thing–whether the results were harmful or just temporarily uncomfortable–be assured: you are wiser than you’ve ever been before.
Know that God can use that wisdom–in the form of advice to someone else, a listening ear, an older, smarter you giving perspective. Not to mention the entertainment value of a good story around a fire pit.
Join us around that imaginary fire pit, and listen in.
