Few things steal your joy as effectively and completely as worry
And there are so many ripe subjects to consume our minds with angst, so many possible hideous scenarios in this life, so many “what ifs” to ponder, and so much potential disaster. Especially if you’ve experienced disaster or tragedy before, and you know what the worst news of the day feels like. Waiting for life’s other shoe to drop is a tough way to live.
Some people are more prone to anxiety than others, it’s true. But we all know what it’s like to worry.
What do you worry most about?
And how do you stop it?
You KNOW worrying won’t change the situation. And yet the ol’ spiral mind takes over and you seem powerless over it.
But is that necessarily so?
Could it be that it’s something we choose? Can you actually be proactive about NOT worrying?
The answer is, I’m happy to say, yes.
In this episode, I’ll share a few ways that just might ease your mind and “settle you down” enough to uncover the joy that’s always been there, patiently waiting to be found underneath your freakout.
