Podcast Episode 58: Wallow

Sometimes your happy little umbrella of optimism has blown inside out, and you find yourself face down on concrete.

THEN what do you need?

Sometimes the greatest potential for joy comes when we investigate what we need within the circumstances we can’t control.

While you’re enduring pain, looking for a job, caring for someone in need, searching for love, experiencing stress at work, worrying about loved ones, dealing with health issues of your own, feeling anxiety about the state of the country or the state of the world or any other undesirable state of affairs…stop and think for a minute about what you really need.

Because often, the very first need that should be addressed…is to identify and then name the emotions you’re really experiencing…. Frustration? Disappointment? Jealousy? Grief? Anger?

And then allow yourself to wallow right there for a while.

Yes, wallow. Find out why and how in this episode…
