Author John Ortberg once said that “waiting is not just something we have to do until we get what we want. Waiting is part of the process of becoming what God wants us to be.”
Which is great…and excruciating.
Because sometimes waiting is very, very hard.
You may be in such a season, waiting—for something to happen, something to change, something to arrive or go away; for resolution, for answers, for guidance, for healing.
So how can we wait well
–when a loved one languishes?
–when we’re out of control, and there’s nothing we can do?
–when we alternate between peace and despair, between grief over what we’ve lost
and celebration of the gifts that are still ours?
–when our thoughts bounce between “I trust you, God,” and “I can’t believe this is happening. This is no fair. This doesn’t make sense. What are You thinking?”
Listen in for the hope this episode brings you as you wait this Easter…
