Podcast Episode 220-Listen To Your Body

May 5, 2025 | Body blues, Podcast

Andi Norton of Phoenix, Arizona, has a crazy story to tell you. In his words:

Back in the 1990s I was maybe 6 or so, I was a kid playing with my Legos as most children in the 90s did, and I had the greatest idea to take one of those little dot Legos and stick it in my nose. I don’t know why I did that. I panicked, of course, because this Lego piece was too small for me to reach in my nose and grab it. So I had the brilliant idea of making a little Lego man and I was going to stick the Lego man up my nose and try to connect the piece on the top of the head, like a little hat because it would fit, you know? It was like a little rescue mission, a deep diving rescue mission to pop that little man out.

Well, I stuck the Lego man in my nose and of course the Lego head popped off in my nose, so that was also stuck in my nose.

What happened in the ensuing 26 years after that will amaze and entertain you. Let’s just say it’s a case for listening to your body.

And in this episode, we’ll learn that the same goes for listening to your body and its need for joy. God designed your physical body to let you know if something is amiss…if you’re running low on “deep delight that feeds your soul.”

Listen in for an invitation to pay attention…and give your body the “joy snack” it needs!
